Abarth is the performance sub-brand of Fiat — and every Abarth from the standard 500 to the 695 Biposto uses exactly the same SIP22 blade and BCM (Body Control Module) as the Fiat 500. When Aaron attends an Abarth 595 callout, the correct blank is already in the van — he carries SIP22 as standard for Fiat 500 callouts. Same blade, different exhaust note.
The Abarth 500e EV (2023+) uses the same SIP22 blade as the petrol range, with Hitag 3 transponder on the Stellantis eCMP platform — the same eCMP platform as the Fiat 600e and DS 3 Crossback E-Tense. Aaron programmes the 500e key via Autel IM508 BCM OBD on site.
One important point for modified Abarth owners: engine remaps, exhaust upgrades, suspension modifications and performance parts have absolutely no effect on key programming. Aaron programmes to the BCM, not the engine ECU. A stage 2 595 is the same key job as a standard 500.

Mods don't matter note: Whether it's a stock Abarth 500 or a stage 2 695 Biposto with a Capristo exhaust and Bilstein coilovers, the key programming approach is identical — Aaron programmes to the BCM, not the engine ECU. Remaps, cat deletes, camber plates and lowering springs are all completely irrelevant to key programming.
