The DS 3 Crossback, DS 4 and DS 7 use HU83 blade with PCF7936 ID46 or Hitag 3, programmed via Autel IM508 OBD — the same approach as the documented Peugeot Boxer all-keys-lost job and Aaron’s full Citroën Berlingo range.
Aaron programmes all DS BSI versions via Autel IM508 on site. The DS 3 Crossback E-Tense EV and DS 4 E-Tense PHEV use the same HU83/BSI key system as petrol equivalents — the EV/PHEV drivetrain adds no complexity. The older DS 3 (before the Crossback rebrand) used VA2 blade rather than HU83 — Aaron carries both.
A practical note: because Aaron already programmes Peugeot 208, 308 and Citroën C3 and Berlingo BSI keys regularly, DS is the brand where he arrives with the most relevant prior experience — identical module, identical OBD, identical result.
